Sheri Zimmerer Branum wins Cedar Point Challenge Family Half Ironman

Sheri Zimmerer Branum definitely proves that great things can come in small packages. At 5 feet, 2 inches and 103 pounds, she rocked the 2015 Challenge Cedar Point Half Ironman distance at 5:00:27.

Earlier this year, she competed in the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships in Milwaukee where she placed third and ninth in her age group (45-49) in the sprint and Olympic distance events.  She’s now qualified to represent Team USA in 2016 at teh ITU World Triathlon Championships being held in Cozumel, Mexico.
